The views from the room were stunning, really enjoyed waking up to the sight of the mountains every morning. The lounge area was also very cozy and a great place to relax after a soak in the hot springs. Another plus was the convenient location, close to some nice restaurants and shops.
The temperature of the hot springs was just too hot for my taste and I couldn't really enjoy it for very long. the staff was not very helpful or friendly, which put a bit of a damper on the overall experience.

Staying in this ryokan was an absolute delight. the location offers beautiful snowy mountain views and the private onsen was an incredible experience. Guests can enjoy coffee in the lobby or visit the nearby cafe for lunch, cake, and a good cup of coffee. the staff was warm, welcoming, and very helpful, making sure that guests are comfortable despite the language barrier. the breakfasts and dinners were delicious and beautifully arranged, which guests can enjoy in the traditional Japanese-style rooms.
The indoor onsen might be a bit too hot for some guests, but the outdoor onsen with the forest view offers a unique experience.

During our Christmas stay, we had a wonderful experience at a traditional ryokan in a calm and peaceful setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. We loved the kaiseki meals that were beautifully presented and delicious. The private and public onsens were easily accessible, and we particularly enjoyed the snow shoes provided by the hotel. The location was ideal for exploring nearby cities and towns, allowing us to fully experience the local arts and crafts culture.
Although the private onsen was a nice treat, it was a bit too hot for our liking. Also, we found that the rooms were a little too warm and could have used better ventilation.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel facilities, including the onsen and lounge, were top-notch. Breakfast was delicious and served at our desired time. Additionally, the hotel provided transportation to nearby locations and had ample parking available.
All good.
